Key Achievements of the Project
Franklin's project management and electrical contracting were crucial in this demanding new development, where quality and modernity were top priorities. Upon completion, As Oy Lauttasaaren Linnahovi stands out in the market, especially due to the bWise system. This energy-smart property has achieved a high energy rating and offers remote access to property automation. Throughout the construction and lifecycle of the property, costs have been successfully reduced through remote management, which also contributed to the project's differentiation in pre-marketing.
Project Description
Franklin was involved in the project from its design phase, providing design guidance related to the bWise home automation system for HVAC matters. A home automation system, smart locking system, and underfloor heating and cooling were installed in all apartments, which can be managed by both users and the housing company via the bWise system. With bWise, residents can control and monitor the home's essential functions such as lighting, heating, and ventilation, while also tracking electricity and water consumption and receiving tips on reducing unnecessary energy use.
Given the unique nature of the project, it was crucial that the collaboration between different stakeholders worked seamlessly from design to implementation, and that the project staff were committed to delivering a quality and impressive outcome.
